Finger size may change depending on the weather and the time of the day. We recommend that you measure it towards the middle or end of the day (your fingers may be smaller early morning or when its cold) at a comfortable temperature, when your finger is not swollen. Measure your finger at least 2 or 3 times to avoid erroneous reading. It’s always best to have your finger size measured by a professional jeweler. Your ring should fit you comfortably, snug enough not to fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle.

Here are some tips to obtain the finger size for a surprise ring:

  • You can borrow his/her ring (from the correct finger) and take a jeweler.
  • When he/she is not looking, take the impression of the band (from the correct finger) by pressing it onto a soap bar. Then take the soap bar with the impression to a jeweler to measure it.
  • Ask a friend or a parent for the finger size.
  • If all fails, just estimate the size as best as you can and make use of our complimentary re-sizing

Complimentary re-sizing of rings (within recommended sizing range) will be offered during the first 6 months when purchased from, you just pay for shipping.

† Complimentary re-sizing is offered only during the first 6 months from the date of purchase and for recommended sizing range only. You pay for shipping only. Eternity rings with specific number of gemstones per finger size, some engraved rings, mil-grain or ornate bands, some large sizing differences and some designer rings, may not be re-sized or may cost extra. In such cases, we will provide you with an estimate to size or remake the ring to the specific size.
